Making sure I look my best starts with my hair. Just like your skin or makeup, if my hair doesn’t look it’s best then I don’t feel my best. Even though I recently had my hair done, going baby blonde has a lot of maintainance that goes along with it. Normally my hair would have become super brassy and loses its blonde shine. But I started using a new hair care line that helps reduce brassiness that I so hate and neutralizes yellow tones. So you must be thinking what is the miracle hair care product that I used? DP HUE is the only hair care brand you will be using going forward…
Last year, I had the opportunity to attend an intimate blogger dinner hosted by celebrity hair colorist & dpHUE creative director Justin Anderson and Morgan Stewart from Rich Kids of Beverly Hills. The dinner was all about hair and why everyone needs to use dpHUE ACV (apple cider vinegar) hair rinse. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) has been used since ancient times to help remove impurities from your hair & scalp without stripping away natural oils. ACV also increases softness and shine. Two things I know that I am always looking for in hair care especially with all the bleaching. Oh and I forgot to mention that ACV helps strengthen your hair in addition to locking in color. DpHUE is basically changing the hair care game.
Besides the hair game changer ACV Hair Rinse & Leave in Conditioner, dpHUE offers a variety of shampoo & conditioners, hair treatments, and at home hair color. My other favorite is the Cool Blue Shampoo and Conditioner. Perfect for any blondie, thed eep violet color neutralizes the yellow tones and reduces brassiness and warmth in hair. This combo of hair care products saved my baby blondes from the sun, sand, and sea during Hawaii. Since then I’ve only been using dpHUE to wash my and care for my hair.
So when Justin himself asked me to come in to get my hair colored by him, how could I say no. The creative director of my fav hair care line wants to update my color; no words could explain my excitement. His clients include Morgan Stewart, Miley Cyrus, Emma Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, & Kirsten Dunst just to name a few. I met Justin at the Chris McMillan salon in Beverly Hills. After about a 2 minute consultation, being the blonde whisperer he knew exactly what I liked and got to work. As much as I like beauty and hair, I don’t like the maintenance of it. Justin gave my baby fine ice blonde highlights and removed the warmth. Best part, the way that Justin does his highlights allows for the root regrowth to blend into my natural. So I don’t have to always be in the salon updating my hair.
All in all, not only did I have an amazing experience with Justin but I left feeling great and confident. I mean isn’t that what we all want. With good hair you can conquer the world. I can’t thank Justin, Cody, Aleksey, & the rest of the staff at Chris McMillan enough for such a positive experience. I can’t wait to go back.
The Chris McMillan Salon is located at 8944 Burton Way Beverly Hills, Ca 90211 | Phone: 310-285-0088 | Open Mon – Sat 8am – 7pm
