This year, I was lucky enough to attend Vanity Fair Social Club once again. I have been fortunate to attend in the past as a guest of VF but this year was extra special. I attended VFSC on behalf of my favorite wine company, Santa Margherita Wines. Held at Greenhouse at The Platfrom in Culver City, the two-day event had non stop fun. Mingling with new and old friends, listening to some great panels, & of course no event is complete with food & wine. All in all, once again VFSC did not disappoint and I hope I can attend again very soon.
The Vanity Fair Social Club Emmys Edition 2016 event kicked off with the YouTube x Influencer Party on Friday night. A star-studded night with young celebs, rising bloggers, & top youtubers; dressed in style I was ready to take on the night. I didn’t know what to expect, but I always say when in doubt wear a dress. I love color & wanted to stand out, so I styled a poppy colored printed dress with my favorite yellow faux leather jacket. Ready to go, I arrived only to be greeted with a tray of Santa Margherita signature drinks at the door. Great way to start the evening. The Santa Margherita bar was offering a selection of Prosecco, Sparkling Rosé, & the two signature drinks of the evening: Sparkling Rosemary (Prosecco Superiore DOCG and rosemary simple syrup) & my personal fav the Pomegranate Bubbly (Prosecco Superiore DOCG, pomegranate juice and orange juice).
Once inside the event, I met up with Brielle of TheGuildedBellini & Karen of SustainableDaisy. First stop of the evening was illustration portraits by Jeanette Getrost. Guests received a signature portrait of themselves with the perfect shade of red lipstick courtesy of Shiseido (another sponsor of VFSC). Any event that has fashion illustrations in my book is a great event. After, we had to stop by the 360 Photo Booth lounge. Probably the best part of the evening. We had so much fun dancing around, have confetti be thrown at us, all while drinking our favorite Santa Margherita drink. This was the perfect way to end the evening.
Day two of VFSC was all about the editorial panels. The day’s event consisted of 4 panels: the YouTube Red Panel (Joey Graceffa, Kina Grannis, and Tim Shea, moderated by Jeffrey Tousey); the Emmy Predictions Panel (Krista Smith, Julie Miller and Joanna Robinson); the Young Stars Panel (Emily Robinson, Yara Shahidi and Rowan Blanchard, moderated by Krista Smith); and my favorite of the day, the Power & Influence, Style & Television panel (costume designer Lyn Paolo (Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder, presented by Movado, moderated by Emily Poenisch).
In between the panels, we got to opportunity to mix & mingle with other bloggers, stop by the Shiseido lipstick station where they were offering touch ups, grab a good fortune card from the Happiness Roadmaps wall presented by the Venetian Vegas, and of course sip on more signature drinks by Santa Margherita. We also got great photo opts throughout the incredible space the event was held in, holding onto memories that will last a lifetime. For todays event, I chose to dress up in a striped column dress with my new favorite bow heels. A large tote is a must when carrying your camera to get the perfect shot.
In the end, I had another great experience attending Vanity Fair Social Club: Emmy’s Edition 2016. This opportunity could have not happened without Santa Margherita. Thank you again for the great experience.
I hope you enjoyed this post & I hope you have a great day. With lots of love…
